Sun chairman Scott McNealy and CEO Jonathan Schwartz skipped the shareholders meeting last Thursday that voted to sell the company to Oracle. Schwartz was supposedly sick even though he stands to gain $12 million in severance from the sale. Scott, one is save in assuming, hated the whole idea even though he’ll get $9 million in severance. Sixty-two percent of the outstanding shares reportedly voted to sell.
