Oracle News Desk Oracle Asks EC’s Blessing
The EC has until September 3 to decide

The regulator is already asking third parties a lot of questions about MySQL and whether, for instance, InnoDB, the MySQL storage engine that Oracle bought in 2005, has prospered since the acquisition. American authorities wanted information about Java licensing, a second request for information that Oracle swears won't stop it from closing on the deal by August 31. Meanwhile, Microsoft and Yahoo filed their papers with U.S. authorities and maybe the EC this week. Google is expected to roil those waters. Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
