Intel Loses Its General Counsel Ahead of AMD Trial
Sewell’s departure was reportedly a surprise to Intel
Sep. 15, 2009 05:15 AM
Intel not only lost Pat Gelsinger to EMC Monday, its general counsel Bruce Sewell is also off to someplace else six months before AMD's antitrust case against Intel goes to trial.
Sewell's departure was reportedly a surprise to Intel and under the circumstances observers are curious to see where he turns up. It must be a pip if it can offer more entertainment value than AMD v Intel, which has set records for the amount of discovery it has produced.
Suzan Miller, currently Intel's deputy general counsel, has been named interim general counsel.
