Shumsky Brings High Level Development Skills to the Company

Revelation Software announced that Bryan Shumsky joined the company as a Senior Software Developer. Bryan's focus will be on the firm's connectivity tools and network products.

Revelation President and CEO Mike Ruane said, "We are very happy to have Bryan on board. He is unique in that he has both low level language experience as well as multivalue experience."

Mr. Shumsky joins Revelation from Via Systems, Inc. where he served as Director of Engineering for the past 11 years. During his tenure at Via Systems, Bryan created and developed the ViaODBC and WebWizard products as well as enhancing the ViaDuct, UniVision and myViewpoint product suite.

"I'm excited to be joining Revelation Software. It's a vibrant, growing company that's having a big impact on the multivalue - and non-multivalue - software worlds." stated Bryan Shumsky. "I'm looking forward to all the great work we can do together."

Bryan has a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and has also attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Founded in 1982, Revelation Software delivers a suite of application development tools and companion services that take full advantage of leading network computing architectures, messaging, groupware, and client server platforms. The company's flagship product OpenInsight is the only database development and application environment that provides both Windows, Linux and Java-based GUI tools to develop and deploy web-based and client server applications that support native and relational XML, SQL, Lotus Notes and the leading legacy Multi-Value data sources such as ARev, Pick and IBM Universe. There are more than 1.6 million licensed users of Revelation products across 80,000 deployed sites worldwide. The company has offices in Westwood, New Jersey, as well as a European distributor in the United Kingdom, and an Asia Pacific subsidiary in Australia.
