Will Deploy it Globally within Enterprise IT

Sun said GM plans to deploy the Solaris 10 as the standard operating system for this infrastructure. GM later said that the stack would simplify the integration of systems throughout its network. Sun said GM will be the largest company to use Java ES to build a Service Oriented Architecture that delivers interoperable Web Services. During its most recent earnings call, Sun Microsystems said General Motors is going to use the Java Enterprise System (Java ES) as an integrated software environment for its global IT infrastructure.
