About the Speaker
As Chief Technology Officer for SAP's Technology Development business, Sal Visca oversees architecture and applied innovation for SAP NetWeaver and the SAP BusinessObjects product and technology portfolio. In this role, Mr. Visca is responsible for defining architecture guidelines and governance models, technology strategy and roadmaps, as well as for driving the process to bring new technologies and innovations to the product lines. Prior to the acquisition of Business Objects by SAP, Mr. Visca had been the company's CTO since 2006. Previously, he held senior management positions at Marqui, Infowave Software, and IBM.
