Richard Stallman Speaks Out. Microsoft Insults Veteran's Administration

icon Richard Stallman says that the recent showdown in the European Parliament
over software trademarks “has implications far beyond the software field.” The Vista
Software Alliance has said that Microsoft’s choice of the word Vista for the
latest version of its Windows operating system is “an affront to the people who
take care of our nation's veterans.” Keynote
speakers for the inaugural EclipseWorld conference have been announced. The
conference is being produced by BZ Media and will be held August 29-31 at the
Roosevelt Hotel in New York. IBM plans
to acquire DWL Inc., a provider of customer data integration (CDI) software.
