Csuy Named Senior Vice President/General Merchandise Manager

GREEN BAY, Wis., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Shopko is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Csuy to the position of Senior Vice President/GMM of Apparel and Accessories. He will have primary responsibility for all aspects of planning, purchasing, and execution of fashion business and marketing plans.

Csuy joined Shopko in the position of Divisional Vice President of Ladies Apparel in 2008. He added Men's apparel to his responsibilities in December 2008.

"Over the past 16 months, Jeff has made key contributions to the Women's and Men's Apparel Division to reposition the company through a more relevant assortment and stronger price value relationship. He has delivered solid financial results in a tough economy and has developed strategic plans to grow the business. A seasoned merchant with an extensive background in the retail industry, Csuy held executive merchandising positions at Stage Stores in Houston, Texas and Carson Pirie Scott prior to joining Shopko.

Csuy holds a bachelor degrees in Economics and Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
