Is the Glass Half Empty or Half Full?

"How long can this last if one of the fundamentals—the value of its companies—remains stuck in neutral, with no one seemingly able to jam it back into gear?," asked SYS-CON West Coast Bureau Chief and International division leader Roger Strukhoff in a recent article.

Strukhoff wrote in his piece that although technology as a whole looked good in the abstract, the practical reality is that a true recovery has still not occurred.

Now SYS-CON Publishing Director Jeremy Geelan has begged to differ, calling out Strukhoff publicly in a recent article in which he points to the many positive developments in the technology world and saying that indeed a "bounce back" has occurred and is occurring.

Strukhoff responded in his blog, and it appears as if the battle lines have been drawn. An internal SYS-CON e-mail has revealed that Geelan recently told Strukhoff to “bring it on.” Geelan’s response to Strukhoff’s blog entry is expected any day. Stay tuned…
