The Mozilla
Firefox browser has now reached 80 million downloads. "Software
patents are a huge potential threat to the ability of people to work together
on open source," said Linus Torvalds at the Open Source Development Labs
(OSDL) announcement at LinuxWorld of the Patent Commons Project. Is Sun’s
JXTA ready to extend the Internet? “I have seldom seen
