Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

Greenberg Traurig Maher Continues Rapid Growth With Addition of Employment Shareholder Naomi Feinstein

LONDON, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenberg Traurig Maher LLP, the firm recently established in London by international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, announced that Naomi Feinstein will be joining the firm as a shareholder to establish its Employment Practice. Naomi is the 13th shareholder hire in the rapidly growing firm, which now includes more than 20 lawyers.

Feinstein will join Greenberg Traurig Maher from Lovells, where she was a partner in the firm's specialist employment team. Her practice encompasses all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious and including transactional work. She has particular experience advising clients on employment issues arising in mergers and acquisitions (including coordinating employment advice on cross-border sale and acquisitions) and on the employment aspects of business restructurings and reorganisations. Naomi provides day-to-day employment advice to clients across a wide range of sectors, including banking and financial services, insurance, commerce, manufacturing and retailing. She has been recognized as a leading UK employment lawyer in both the Legal 500 and Chambers directories.

"Naomi is one of the top lawyers in the area of UK employment law and an important addition to the firm," said Paul Maher, Chairman of Greenberg Traurig Maher's London office. "Her wide-ranging experience in this area of law - especially in dealing with employment law issues arising in the M&A and restructuring arenas - will be invaluable as we continue to establish our full-service team."

Maher added, "The growth of the London office has exceeded my expectations as to the speed in which the firm has brought on board talented lawyers. These lawyers are servicing a rapidly growing portfolio of client work, which is necessitating a continued and sustained recruitment drive."

"Attracting an experienced employment law specialist like Naomi is an important step in the strategic expansion of our London office," said Richard A. Rosenbaum, Greenberg Traurig's President. "She is a valuable addition to the firm's 100-lawyer Labor & Employment Practice, bringing with her extensive knowledge of employment law and the complex issues that can have a significant impact on a range of corporate transactions."
