Slingshot Communications Inc., innovator of the highly popular Pay-As-You-Roam® Internet access service, has appointed Greg Smith as President. Widely recognized as an industry pioneer, through its patented technology, Slingshot enables users to obtain instant wired and mobile broadband Internet access while allowing them to pay only for what they use, anywhere and anytime, avoiding lengthy contract commitments.

Greg Smith has served as Chairman and held various executive positions in the banking, aviation, securities and automobile industries in both public and private companies. Mr. Smith will be based at Slingshot headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.
