Feb. 22, 2010 03:42 PM
CBTS, a national provider of data centers and managed services, has launched its new Enterprise Network and Operations Center (ENOC) in Mason, Ohio, just outside of Cincinnati. The facility – which now monitors and manages over one hundred thousand technology infrastructure devices – has been relocated to a centric location to support the company’s existing clientele in the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. “Not only is the investment in a new ENOC a continuation of our promise to continually provide cutting edge service – both in terms of professionals and technology – to current clients, but it is a commitment to our future growth,” said Dave Burns, Vice President of Managed Services. “As we look out five years from now, our organization wants to be prepared for the increasing success we are seeing out of our international segment.” The 10,000 square-foot center, which can be expanded to 40,000 square feet, uses the latest in ScienceLogic EM7 integrated system, network, and application management. Running 24 hours a day, the ENOC is crucial to enterprise IT needs – ranging from proactive monitoring and management to break/fix. Responsible for such critical operations, the building and the internal facility have also been equipped with undisclosed secure-access technologies and procedures. “We are extremely excited about the expansion of our operations and the ability to support our clients both domestically and globally. The organization will continue to invest based on our customers’ needs and objectives, as we are committed to having one of the most comprehensive support models in the market,” said John Burns, President of CBTS.
