According to research firm Piper Jaffray, Adobe will launch a software bundle of major Macromedia and Adobe products in the first half of 2006, assuming the merger between the companies closes as planned in October.According to research firm Piper Jaffray, Adobe will launch a software bundle of major Macromedia and Adobe products in the first half of 2006, assuming the merger between the companies closes as planned in October.

According to a report by Forbes, Piper is taking a contrary view on Adobe compared to most analysts:

"While the Street generally thinks Adobe is coming out of a product cycle, we believe Adobe is going into a product cycle."

Piper Jaffray, according to Forbes, expects Adobe's third-quarter results to beat consensus expectations, based on higher-than-expected demand for Studio 8 and other Macromedia products.
