Financial Advisor's Social Media Campaign Educates C-Level Executives
He enlists Advisolocity team to develop content and lead way

"Performance shares may not be the sole preserve of the C suite set in the near future," Charles "Chuck" Steege CFP® of the SFG Executive Compensation Forum said recently. As part of his quarterly social media campaign that he undertook with the Advisolocity social media agency, Mr. Steege emphasized recently that increasing numbers of companies are granting performance shares to middle management performers as well. "From an educational perspective," Mr. Steege continued, "I am trying to steer a clear course to greater participation in an organization's long-term success." With the help of financial marketing writer, John Drachman of Social Media Memo, Mr. Steege co-authored a new report from SFG Publications, "Five Reasons to Like Performance Shares (And One Reason to Think Twice)," that clarifies many of the benefits - and one of the shortcomings - of this increasingly popular executive compensation strategy. "These grants come in a much greater variety than stock options or time-vested restricted stock,' he added. However, he concluded, the structure and details of these grants, in fact, are so flexible and vary so much that a grant will almost certainly be different from other grants at other companies.
