Kapow Technologies, Danish Company Moves to Silicon Valley, Names Blue Titan's Glenn Hasen New CEO
Prior to joining Kapow Technologies, Hasen was founding executive and CEO of SOA company Blue Titan Software

Kapow Technologies, a leading web integration platform provider, announced Glenn Hasen as CEO. Operating out of Kapow’s newly established headquarters in the Silicon Valley, Hasen will lead the company’s rapid expansion into key domestic and international markets.

Originally based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Kapow Technologies has been shipping the Kapow web integration platform for three years, and has added more than 85 enterprise customers to its roster including Wells Fargo, Penske Truck Leasing, Credit Suisse First Boston and  Deutsche Post.

“After achieving two straight years of significant growth, the time is now to capitalize on our success and expand further into international markets,” said Stefan Andreasen, company founder and CTO. “After a thourough CEO candidate search, we determined that Glenn Hasen is the ideal person to lead Kapow Technologies through this exciting next phase, because he has a strong track record of managing early-stage technology companies to success, and in creating and leading new market categories.”

Hasen has more than 20 years of management experience at enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Kapow Technologies, Hasen was founding executive and CEO of Blue Titan Software, an SOA provider. Before Blue Titan, he was the the executive responsible for Pivotal Software’s explosive growth that included the establishment of its early market leadership, international expansion and a successful initial public offering (IPO). Prior to Pivotal, he also held several executive positions at Information Builders and Computer Associates both domestically and internationally, where he had a reputation for identifying and seizing new market opportunities.

“The economics driving traditional methods for integrating applications, content and digital assets just don’t work in today’s budget and time constrained IT environments,” said Hasen. “However, Kapow Technologies stands alone in its ability to offer a new integration platform that leverages the web front-end as opposed to traditional backend integration. Our growing list of enterprise customers is a testament to the value Kapow Technologies offers, which is a more efficient way for corporations to build, integrate and exploit the vast amounts of information that is available to them internally and externally. And what’s most impressive is that these results can be achieved in about one tenth the time compared to traditional back-end integration alternatives.”
