Existing customers may download Version 2.5 from the "Download" area of Proliphix's website at no charge.

Version 2.5 software includes product enhancements as well as new features for both the Basic and Professional Series of Internet-enabled Thermostats, including Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature scales, and secure password authentication for direct access to the product web pages. Feature enhancements include a broader temperature range for external thermal sensors [-30 degrees F (-34 degrees C) to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C)], and the Filter Replacement Reminder is now measured in fan runtime hours.

Based on the demand for enhanced features by commercial customers and enterprise applications, Professional Series Thermostats now include enhanced security with user-defined network- and user-level thermostat access privileges. In addition, energy-saving features now limit the heat or cool cycles per hour and temperature differential of the heat or cool setpoint (deadband) is now configurable.
