Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

Web Hosting Provider ServerPlex Launches Onsite Technical Support Subsidiary
'ServerPlex Onsite' Will Send Certified Technicians To Client Sites In Bay Area For Onsite Support

ServerPlex Networks, a web hosting service provider focusing on affordable web hosting solutions has launched a subsidiary called ServerPlex Onsite, which dispatches certified technicians to homes and businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area.

ServerPlex Onsite technicians are trained in preventive technologies, which helps avert system failure and data loss. Technicians also specialize in providing on-site client education and demonstrations. Most technicians have formal college degrees and are either MCSE or CCNA certified.

According to Robert Marhamat, ServerPlex Networks Business Development Manager, ''We're professionals, not geeks - and that's really important to our customers. Our technicians are able to work with our clients on a personal level.''

The company offers a number of specialized services, including multimedia device networking and installation, connectivity troubleshooting and configuration, wireless and wired networking, and hardware servicing and installation.

Mr. Marhamat added, ''We have been providing web hosting and technical support services for over 5 years, and we're excited to take our services to the next level.''

ServerPlex Onsite technical services are available 24 hours a day, and a telephone support service is also offered. One-hour service is also offered to serve clients' immediate needs.
