Homeland Security Group International Appoints Mr. Ronnie Frigulti as Head of Ballistics Division

DEL MAR, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/10/06 -- Homeland Security Group International (OTC: HMSG) announced today that HMSG has appointed former FBI Agent Ronnie Frigulti as head of its Ballistics Division replacing Warren Brader.

Mr. Frigulti is a well-known law enforcement training and weapons expert. Mr. Frigulti will focus the division towards training, testing, design and development of new ballistic compounds and will also be responsible for weapons and ballistic consulting and evaluations of current security programs as pertain to assessments associated with ballistic threats.

"The ballistics division is currently hard at work testing the capabilities of new compounds in order to bring to the market lighter weight armor capable of stopping high velocity rounds," commented Colonel Powers. "The phenomenal expertise and experience that Mr. Frigulti brings to this position will ensure that these tests are accomplished with the utmost care and achieve professional results."

"We are working with numerous manufacturers in the development and testing of lightweight, moldable ballistic material capable of defeating high- velocity ammunition," said Frigulti. "I am happy to be on board and continue this important work towards lessening the weight our soldiers have to carry while protecting them from high-velocity impacts."

HMSG is currently testing a variety of compounds aimed at defeating high- caliber, high-velocity ammunition, like the type currently used by insurgents in attacks against American Military Forces deployed in the Middle East.

ABOUT RONNIE FRIGULTI

Ronnie J. Frigulti is a United States Marine Corps Combat Veteran having served as an infantry platoon and company commander in Vietnam, 1968-1969. He has a BA degree in Public Administration and a MA degree in Criminal Justice. He retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent with twenty-five years service in the Los Angeles Field Office. During his career with the FBI, he served on the Los Angeles FBI SWAT Team for fifteen years where he was a sniper, sniper team leader, and assault team leader. He was certified by the FBI as a firearms, defensive tactics, and police instructor for twenty-two years. He was appointed as the Principal Firearms Instructor for the Los Angeles FBI Field Office and served in that capacity for seventeen years until his retirement from the FBI.

Mr. Frigulti directed the Los Angeles FBI Police Training Unit that was responsible for the tactical and firearms training of agents, as well as instructing local law enforcement and the military. He conducted classes in firearms, defensive tactics, chemical agents, physical fitness, officer survival, SWAT and other related tactical courses. In 1996, he was certified by the FBI as a Master Police Instructor. He was a California certified POST Police Instructor and NRA Police Firearms Instructor. Oregon State DPPST has certified him in the state as a Police Instructor. Upon retirement, he has continued to provide training to law enforcement and military personnel. He now resides in central Oregon with his wife who is a Special Agent with the FBI. In the summer of 2000, he established Police Training Consultants, LLC.

Police Training Consultants, LLC (PTC) is a firearms and tactical training/consulting company dedicated to officer safety by providing fundamental and practical training to officers in law enforcement and the military. Mr. Frigulti brings to PTC his experience in the military, law enforcement, and as a law enforcement trainer/instructor and his passion for teaching.
