In its 10th year, SYS-CON's Readers' Choice Awards is one of the most prestious award program and is also known as the "Oscars of the software industry." Nominations are now open at the ajax.sys-con.com website. SYS-CON announced the winners and finalists of its 2005 Readers' Choice Awards for SOA, Web Services, Java and XML in total of 47 distinct award categories in January, 2006. More than 17,000 SYS-CON readers participated in choosing the best products of 2005.
