Terremark Worldwide Inc., an operator of integrated Tier-1 Internet exchanges and provider of managed IT infrastructure solutions for government and private sectors, announced that IDG Netherlands, a technology media, research and event company, has signed a multi-year contract with Dedigate, Terremark's managed hosting subsidiary.

Uptime is important for IDG Netherlands and even if one of its sites is offline, this leads to immediate reactions by its visitors, said Mr. Raimon Gort from IDG Netherlands. A partner like Dedigate that manages the infrastructure behind its websites and with whom it can quickly communicate would be helpful. He added that IDG's strategic business expansion via online channels would be served by Dedigate's Amsterdam environment designed specially for IDG Netherlands and its business growth.
