Rackspace Partners With JBoss On Intensive Linux Hosting
JBoss Will Certify Intensive Hosting for Linux/JBoss Edition, Provide Support Escalation

Rackspace Managed Hosting, a managed hosting provider, and JBoss, a professional open-source company, announced a partnership agreement to create Intensive Hosting for Linux/JBoss Edition, a managed Linux hosting solution specifically designed for complex Java Enterprise Edition applications running on JBoss Application Server.
According to Rackspace, as the first JBoss-certified hosting partner, Rackspace will resell JBoss Subscription support services as an optional component of its Intensive Enterprise Linux hosting service. JBoss will certify the offering and provide support escalation for complex issues.The hosting solution provides JBoss-specific monitoring, administration and support escalation services to organizations for deploying and managing Java EE applications.
"Rackspace provides the expertise in managing complex Java EE infrastructure such as the data center, network, operating system and application infrastructure components, in addition to delivering a number of key infrastructure services designed to keep these environments up and running efficiently," said Tom Cooper (pictured), vice president of worldwide channels, JBoss. "Intensive Hosting/JBoss Edition is the optimal product offering for organizations seeking to take advantage of Java EE but lack the resources to effectively deploy and maintain a robust Java EE infrastructure."
