Today, migrating applications to the cloud, while keeping full control of the software stack, remains a challenge for cloud providers and enterprise IT departments alike. Creating and maintaining cloud server templates and golden images is a difficult, time-consuming process that inhibits easy software migration.
In his session at the 9th International Cloud Expo, James Weir, CTO and co-founder of UShareSoft, will outline how cloud providers can build a dynamic cloud app store where software designers and enterprise IT departments can create, share and consume applications. He will also cover the technologies and tools for automating the creation and maintenance of software images and server templates, enabling enterprises and ISVs to easily migrate applications and participate in the app store, while maintaining full software governance.
