Innoopract has introduced RAP with the intention of converging the benefits of Eclipse, RCP and Ajax for the development of dynamic, next-generation web applications while also reducing the cost of development. Developers familiar with Eclipse will feel at home with RAP development and will be able to quickly and effectively extend RCP applications to the Web or create new applications from scratch. This can be done efficiently without needing to code HTML or JavaScript since these technologies are encapsulated into the Widget Toolkit.
