Continuent Takes Home LinuxWorld Product Excellence Award
Continuent p/cluster wins award for Best Clustering Solution

Continuent, Inc., the leading provider of commercial open source middleware solutions for database high availability, today announced that Continuent™ p/cluster, the latest release of its database virtualization suite, won the LinuxWorld Product Excellence Award for Best Clustering Solution.

The Awards, which as in previous years were organized jointly by SYS-CON Media's LinuxWorld Magazine and IDG World Expo, recognize product and service innovations by LinuxWorld exhibitors and were presented in 12 separate categories, plus the “Best of Show” award. Winners were selected as the top product and service innovations and solutions in open computing by a panel of industry experts. The awards were announced at the LinuxWorld Conference & Expo.

“The recognition from the LinuxWorld award judges is a great independent validation of the strength of Continuent’s product suite, as well as of our support of the open source community," said Eero Teerikorpi, CEO at Continuent.
