NaviSite Offers Monthly Oracle Software Licenses to ISVs
Hosting service provider helps enable customers to scale ongoing oracle software investment to support growth

NaviSite on Monday announced it will offer monthly Oracle software licenses to its independent software vendor (ISV) customers through Oracle's SaaS for ISVs model. NaviSite is a Platinum level member of Oracle Partner Network (OPN).

With monthly Oracle software licensing, NaviSite ISV customers can take advantage of a flexible usage-based billing that accommodates changing business needs. The Oracle software licensing is seamlessly integrated into NaviSite's hosting services, and complements traditional licensing.

"ISVs deploying cloud applications are looking for a secure and scalable platform with a flexible investment model," said Kevin O'Brien, Senior Director, ISV and SaaS Strategy, Oracle. "Combining Oracle's SaaS for ISVs model with hosting services from NaviSite speeds time to market for ISVs' cloud applications."

"NaviSite is excited to have been selected as a North American hosting partner to bring this dynamic licensing model to our customers," said Brady Reiter, General Manager, Enterprise Architecture and Application Strategy, NaviSite. "Companies looking to build their applications on enterprise-class software in secure hosting facilities will greatly benefit from the ability to leverage software from Oracle and hosting services from NaviSite, all encapsulated in one monthly fee from a single vendor."

Oracle SaaS for ISVs
Committed to providing leading technology for cloud computing, including Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Oracle offers a commercial licensing model that enables Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to purchase license and support for select Oracle products on a monthly basis. The monthly licensing model allows SaaS ISVs to effectively scale their investment in Oracle technology with their company growth and end-user demand. More information regarding SaaS for ISVs can be found in the Cloud Computing & SaaS Knowledge Zone on the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) portal.
