News Oracle Is "Missing an Operating System," Says Larry Ellison As He Contemplates an Oracle Linux Distro

In an interview to the UK-based Financial Times, Ellison confirmed that Oracle has in the past contemplated buying Novell, and that the $350M acquisition of JBoss by Red Hat, which gives Red Hat an open middlware stack, has given him a renewed reason to look at the open source software market.
