Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. SOA Expert Linthicum Touts Joining Enterprises with Web 2.0
To Speak at SOA Web Services Edge in New York

Author, blogger, and podcaster David Linthicum (pictured) will discuss how to incorporate Web 2.0 prinicples into enterprise IT development--regardless of the size of the enterprise--during his presentation at the SOA Web Services Edge Conference and Expo, to be held in New York June 5-6. Linthicum provides an overview of his upcoming presentation during this exclusive SYS-CON interview.

"We are moving toward a day when most of our enterprise applications may be delivered as services, and thus provide a more economical way to approach information technology management with businesses going forward," he says. "This is also the great equalizer since businesses, large and small, will have access to the same number and quality of services, much like they do with Web sites today."

The interview can be found at http://www.sys-con.tv/read/208573.htm.
