NEW YORK, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Telecom IQ will host the IMS Evolution Summit on June 26-28, 2006 in San Diego, CA where over 35 speakers will discuss the new value chain in a converged world, and the evolution timeline for deploying IMS architecture. Additions to the agenda include a proof of concept panel session featuring HP, Sprint, and Ubiquity as well as a case study from a leading cable network operator on the value proposition and key drivers for IMS deployment.
"Through comprehensive research with the industry, Telecom IQ has focused on IMS as an evolution process," says event director Mark Goldberg. "It is clear from the carriers that this will be the approach, and we have positioned the event as an interactive forum to create discussions around this migration towards IMS architecture."
Besides speakers from carriers such as Sprint, Verizon Business, AT&T, France Telecom R & D, Global Crossing, XO Communications and others, there are also companies who will host a number of sponsored activities at the summit. These firms will be available to discuss their viewpoint on the IMS evolution and the role that network integrators and other industry partners can provide during the migration. Current sponsors include: HP, IBM, Intel, Amdocs, Juniper Networks, NewHeights Software, Comverse, and Ditech Networks.
Telecom IQ, a division of the International Quality and Productivity Center, addresses critical issues facing the Telecommunications Industry utilizing both workshops and conferences.
