Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Research and Markets: Global Hosted Unified Communications Market 2011-2015: The Global Hosted Unified Communications Market to Grow At A CAGR Of 20.99 Percent over the Period 2011-2015

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/9qg63p/global_hosted) has announced the addition of the "Global Hosted Unified Communications Market 2011-2015" report to their offering.

One of the key factors contributing to this market growth is the increasing need for centralized management. The Hosted Unified Communications market has also been witnessing the adoption of cloud-based enterprise services. However, requirement for high bandwidths could pose a challenge to the growth of this market.

Key vendors dominating this market space include Microsoft Corp., AT&T Inc., BT Group plc., Cisco systems Inc., and Vodafone Group. The other vendors included in the report are Orange SA, Cypress Communications, Google Inc., and IBM Corp.

Commenting on the report, an analyst from TechNavio's Telecom team said: ''The installation of a unified communication (UC) solution is expected to lead to a huge investment for small and medium businesses (SMBs). Owing to this, many SMBs are hesitant in implementing an on-premise UC communication system. Hosted UC services help in eliminating the infrastructure cost, so SMBs are more likely to adopt hosted services. They provide SMBs with an efficient communication system at an affordable cost. Hence, as more SMBs are setting up globally, it is expected that they will support the growth of the Global Hosted Unified Communications market in the future.''

According to the report, one such driver is the increasing need for centralized management. Hosted UC manages all the administrative tasks in a centralized manner. With hosted UC, administrators can perform the task once and the data will be updated at every relevant location. This will improve the reliability of the system and also save time.

Further, the report discusses that one of the major challenges is the requirement for high bandwidth.
