Similar is the case with managed multi Cloud hosting. You can very well understand how a big burden it would be to manage multi cloud servers for organization; this is why a service known as managed multi Cloud is provided to these users. This service ensures them the seam less running of their system administrative operations while organizations focus more on t...

Libelium Internet of Things Platform Certified as ThingWorx-Ready

ThingWorx™ today announced that Libelium, a leader in the design and manufacturing of wireless sensor network hardware, has completed certification of their Meshlium Sensor Networking Gateway device as ThingWorx-Ready™. This certification makes the Libelium Waspmote Plug & Sense!™ sensor platform compatible with the ThingWorx platform – the industry’s first application development platform designed to reduce the effort required to build Machine-to-Machine (M2M) solutions and sensor applications for the emerging connected world.

The ThingWorx-Ready Program, recently launched by ThingWorx, allows hardware and software companies to pre-integrate their product with the ThingWorx rapid application development platform, greatly simplifying the creation and deployment of M2M solutions. These companies provide a wide variety of products throughout the entire connected world value chain – from software systems and cloud platforms to smart sensors, devices, gateways and machines. Being "plug-and-play" reduces the cost and risk of wireless sensor and Internet of Things deployments for end customers, helping accelerate the growth of the overall space.

“Our aim is to reduce our customers’ time-to-market while remaining as a horizontal hardware provider for the Internet of Things. We achieve both of these advantages with the integration into the ThingWorx platform,” stated Alicia Asín Pérez, CEO of Libelium.

Libelium’s certification as ThingWorx-Ready creates a pre-integrated solution that will improve time to market and reduce overall solution costs for its customers. The ThingWorx-Ready certification exposes Libelium’s hardware technology to the ThingWorx ecosystem of OEMs, “Smart” application providers, system integrators, and resellers, making its product a preferred choice for customer applications.

“With the number of connected devices projected to grow from one billion to 50 billion over the next 10 years the number of connected solutions must expand at a similarly rapid rate. This represents a tremendous opportunity for companies that can quickly develop end-to-end solutions,” said Russ Fadel, CEO and Co-Founder of ThingWorx. “Making our partners’ products ‘ThingWorx-Ready’ exposes them to the entire ThingWorx ecosystem and further extends the 5X to 10X development efficiency advantage that a ThingWorx based solution offers.”
