November 9(th), 2012 - SYSTRAN, the leading provider of language translation technologies, today announced its consolidated financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2012.

Third Quarter 2012 Activities

During the third quarter, SYSTRAN sales amounted to 2,467 KEUR as compared with 2,782 KEUR for the third quarter of 2011. Consolidated sales for the first nine months of the year totalled 7,869 KEUR as compared with 8,051 KEUR for the same period last year.

License sales amounted to 1,218 KEUR as compared with 1,703 KEUR in 2011. During the first nine months, sales generated from software licenses totalled 3,951 KEUR, and represent 50.2% of total sales.

Sales for the Professional Services increased when compared with the same period last year. During the first nine months, Professional Services sales totaled 3,918 KEUR, an increase of 19.9% as compared with the same period last year.

2012 Outlook

SYSTRAN will continue its efforts to develop the Software Publishing business, focusing on Server Product sales to corporate customers. SYSTRAN plans to reinforce the sales team to develop revenue in all business segments. SYSTRAN will also launch new cloud services to complement its line of products and services for corporate customers.

Based on the level of existing orders and the current challenging economic environment, sales for 2012 should be less than 2011.

Dispute with the European Commission

The Court has informed SYSTRAN and the European Commission that the Advocate-General will deliver his conclusions on November 15, 2012 instead of September 27, 2012 as previously scheduled.
