SWAP's "Bed for a Bed" program allows the company to donate one bed to someone in need for every bed purchased. The SWAP and Keller Williams' partnership will assist Home for Good, a comprehensive, five-year action plan to end chronic and veteran homelessness in L.A. County by 2016. The effort has exceeded its annual goals and Home for Good partners have placed 1,569 veterans and 3,924 chronic homeless individuals into permanent housing. Following sales of SWAP mattresses at some of the largest retail locations in the U.S., SWAP has already donated mattresses to the Alpha Community Services YMCA (a branch of the Central Connecticut Coast YMCA), supportive housing WORKS (a partner of the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County), and U.S. VETS in Inglewood, Calif.
