Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Fast Claim Process Underway by Fidelity/Wright Flood for Sandy Storm Claims
New speedy claim processes, newly approved by the NFIP to expedite claim payments to Sandy flood claimants, are underway at Fidelity/Wright Flood and will get checks into policyholders' hands without delay.

ST PETERSBURG,  Fla., Nov. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- "At Wright Flood we deliver benefits from the NFIP flood policy to our policyholders as fast as possible following the guidelines of the NFIP.  We are fully embracing the new speedier process to get claim checks to our policyholders as outlined by the NFIP today," noted Jeff Moore, VP of Claims at Wright Flood.  "The revised NFIP process helps us get Fidelity/Wright flood policyholders their claim checks faster but also includes a method for the claimant to provide information to us if they feel there is need for further review of their claim."

The NFIP issued Bulletin W-12092 today that documents a revised claim process allowing the covered flood policy loss to be paid by the insurer as soon as practicable after the insurer receives and reviews the adjusters report. As part of this rapid claim process and under this waiver, the insurer will send the insured the payment for the covered loss, a copy of the adjuster's report, and a letter explaining this rapid claim procedure.

Receiving this payment based upon the adjuster's report will not prohibit an insured from seeking additional payment under his or her policy where coverage limits have not been exhausted. The speedy claim process provides a method for claimants to dispute the amount of the claim payment by sending a sworn proof of loss before the one year anniversary of the date of loss.

In order to allow claimants ample time to evaluate their losses the deadline for filing a proof of loss to the insured has been extended by the NFIP for Sandy claims only to one year from the date of loss.

This rapid claim process and the extension to file proof of loss up to one year applies only to claims and states affected by Sandy which include FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, DC, MD, DE, WV, PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, VT, ME.

To file an initial claim: Policyholders can call claims at 1-800-725-9472 and provide an active Fidelity National Indemnity Insurance Company policy number or the covered property address and contact information to open the claim and expect to receive further communication from the Fidelity/Wright Flood claims adjuster.

Fidelity National Indemnity Insurance Company has recently been renamed Wright Flood pending approval by the Texas Department of Insurance.  Wright Flood, located in St. Petersburg, Florida, has been serving federal flood insurance policies more than 20 years and in 2011 joined The Wright Insurance Group of Uniondale, NY.
