The Digital Development Group Corp. (OTCBB: DIDG) (“DigiDev”or the “Company”), the Internet TV distribution company, announced an agreement with Cinema Libre Studio to launch the “Cinema Libre Channel.”
Cinema Libre Studio is headed by Philippe Diaz, chosen as “one of ten moviemakers making a difference.” “The portfolio of Cinema Libre is chock full of performances and productions by the top talents and creative minds in the film industry,” stated Bruce Venezia, VP of Acquisitions, DigiDev.
“It's an honor for Cinema Libre Studio to be associated with DigiDev. I collaborated with Marty Greenwald [CEO DigiDev] and Bruce Venezia back during the advent of the DVD, and know they have always been at the forefront of new technologies. We look forward to breaking new ground with them in launching the Cinema Libre Channel, an Internet TV platform curated for international cinema and documentary films. It is clear that in the very near future everyone will be watching TV by Internet and other media will become obsolete. What a great way for high end content to find its public!" stated Philippe Diaz, Principal of Cinema Libre.
DigiDev is targeting the rapidly expanding and revolutionary “OTT” technology arena to facilitate the video delivery of movies, games & apps to millions of desktops, mobile and smart/Internet enabled TV devices around the World. “OTT” or “Over-The–Top” devices piggyback on existing network services in consumer homes or offices to pull content from the Internet and deliver it to their TV or Internet enabled device.
“We are looking forward to working together with the Cinema Libre Team to bring compelling content to the Internet,” stated Martin W. Greenwald, CEO. “Their portfolio is a perfect example of the content we are seeking to distribute online, their library has a loyal following around the world and we look forward to providing this audience the ability to watch thought provoking movies and documentaries in what promises to be the most convenient distribution platform in the industry,” continued Greenwald.
