An open house Tuesday, Nov. 13 will showcase the data center, Hosting.com's fifth cloud enabled facility

DALLAS, Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hosting.com, a leading provider of enterprise-class, managed cloud hosting services and disaster recovery solutions, announced today it is hosting an open house and tour of its Dallas data center, now fully cloud-enabled. The event will be held at the facility located at 1807 Ross Ave #300, on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. RSVP here to participate in this event.

Visitors will be able to see first-hand the newly-renovated Dallas data center and discuss their needs with Hosting.com. CEO Art Zeile and COO Joel Daly will be in attendance to answer questions, along the Dallas engineering and support staff. Enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and network with other technology pros. Autographed helmets and footballs, provided by Hosting.com customer The Dallas Cowboys, will be raffled off at the event.  As part of its commitment to the local community, Hosting.com will make a donation to the North Dallas Food Bank on behalf of all attendees.

The 10,000-square-foot data center, located in Dallas's Central Business District, is a fully-redundant facility that offers customers access to on-demand cloud hosting. In addition, enterprises located in the Southwest region who want to deploy cloud-based applications can now choose Dallas as their primary application site or recovery site. The Dallas data center is Hosting.com's fifth cloud-enabled data center– joining Denver, Colorado; Louisville, Kentucky; Newark, Delaware; and Irvine, California. The Dallas facility is PCI Level  1 compliant and SOC 2 and 3 audited.

"We continue to expand the scope and power of our data centers," says Matt Ferrari, CTO with Hosting.com. "Our cloud-enabled Dallas data center underscores that effort, and provides customers a seamless connection to our other sites."

  • Other Dallas data center features and services include:
  • Support for high-density cloud hosting requirements
  • Enhanced security posture: video surveillance, mantrap, biometrics, infrared anti-tailgating
  • Fault tolerant A/B power distribution supplied by N+1 UPS infrastructure
  • Hybrid solutions for public, private and colocation needs
  • EMC technology powered
  • Professional Services support to help accelerate your move to the cloud
