AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Realty Austin won first place in Austin American Statesman's 2012 Top Workplaces. The real estate brokerage was announced as the winner and awarded their highest honor in Sunday's edition. Of the top companies selected for the Greater Austin area list, Realty Austin ranked No. 1 in the Small Company Category.

Jonathan Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said, "Our company's achievements are a direct result of our powerhouse team of top agents backed by our incredible support team. Our forward-thinking culture, coupled with a commitment to building the most innovative and progressive real estate company, offers each member of our team an opportunity to make a real impact on our industry's future."

Employers were rated in areas of leadership and direction, ethics and values, and treatment of employees. The small company category ranked companies with 149 or fewer Central Texas employees. This year, 138 nominations were received by Austin American Statesman and Realty Austin placed first among the top 45 in its category.

Yvette Boatwright, co-owner of Realty Austin said, "We are honored to be recognized as the Statesman's Top Workplace. Boatwright continued, "We hand pick success-driven, technology savvy agents to join our team. We continue to stack the deck by only engaging with candidates who meet our high standards and expectations."
