Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Cancer Treatment Centers of America Named a Top 100 Workplace by Chicago Tribune

Professional development, work life balance, and employee wellness emphasized at CTCA

CHICAGO, Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Cancer Treatment Centers of America® (CTCA®) has been named one of the Chicago Tribune Top 100 Workplaces, ranking eighth in the "Large Employer" category and first among hospitals. The coveted list of top employers is determined by employee feedback in an annual survey by WorkplaceDynamics LLP.  CTCA's selection reflects a combination of employee (at CTCA "Stakeholder") benefits and programs that make the organization a great place to work, including opportunities for Stakeholder growth and development, comprehensive benefits packages, and a positive, customer focused work environment.

"Being recognized as a top employer is a great honor. This award reflects that we extend our 'care that never quits' philosophy to our relationship with our Stakeholders," said Stephen Bonner, President and CEO of CTCA. "We commit to the growth and development of our people, who serve cancer patients and their families at the highest quality levels in our industry. We can only deliver our patient centric model of care through healthy, happy, challenged and advancing Stakeholders who are pursuing wellness and a healthy work/life balance."

CTCA offers an innovative, quality work environment.  Stakeholders are encouraged to develop and enhance their professional skills.  This is supported by the organization's on-site "Center for Learning," and by paying tuition for job related coursework at colleges and institutions.

To foster a healthy and well-adjusted work environment, CTCA offers generous health benefits packages with the same commitment the organization delivers to its patients. Stakeholders are encouraged to take part in on-site wellness activities including personal training, free workout classes and naturopathic consults. "Healthy Awards" incentives reward participation in wellness activities, for up to four events per year.  CTCA's hospital based Stakeholders also receive discounts on healthy meals prepared fresh daily by the hospital's culinary staff.

The CTCA model of care treats the whole person through a combination of medical, nutritional, physical, psychological and spiritual therapies, in a compassionate, caring environment where patients are encouraged to actively participate in the management of their disease. The organization applies this same philosophy to its Stakeholders, and gives them the confidence and support to succeed at work and in life.

"Every Stakeholder at CTCA plays an important role in the fight against cancer.  From our clinicians on the front line of patient care, to members of our administrative and support staff, we all work together to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families," said Anne Meisner, president and CEO of CTCA at Midwestern Regional Medical Center. "This team approach is central to our patient-centered care, and the comprehensive program we offer helps keep our Stakeholders engaged and working to deliver the best care for our patients."

WorkplaceDynamics, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement, conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with more than 30 major publishing partners and recognizes a National list of Top Workplaces.

The Chicago Tribune published the complete list of Top Workplaces on Tuesday, November 13th. For more information about the Top Workplaces lists and WorkplaceDynamics, please visit www.topworkplaces.com and www.workplacedynamics.com.
