Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

Ticketbis Successfully Received Their Third Round of Funding

LONDON, November 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --

  • Three years after its launch, the Spanish start-up receives 900.000 Euros from investors.
  • The sum will be invested into the consolidation of the ten different markets the company is operating in.

The Spanish online platform Ticketbis has achieved its third round of funding and received almost one million Euros. Thanks to this, Ticketbis' capital stock is now worth more than two and a half million Euros. "With this new round of funding and the great results we have achieved within the past months, we hope to top the thirteen million Euros turnover we reached in 2012", state Ander Michelena and Jon Uriarte, the two young founders of the company.

The firm believes that "human capital is the fundamental support of the company" and has planned hiring 30 more employees in the upcoming months, which will form a workforce of a hundred young professionals before the year ends.

Internationalisation has been the fundamental key of the growth of the business since the very beginning, and Ticketbis is already market leader in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. A great part of the funding will be invested into consolidating the existing markets and new launching operations in Germany and Russia.

The third quarter of 2012 was the best in the history of the company

The start-up has made their figures public for the third quarter of this year, as this has been the best phase throughout its standing. Between July and September, which are the months where less turnover is expected, Ticketbis reached a turnover of 3,5 million Euros. Looking back at the same period of last year, the turnover was 1,3 million. With this, the accumulated sales of 2012 have already topped 9 million Euros.

Ticketbis

Ticketbis is a Spanish platform for buying and selling tickets throughout all sectors of leisure. With a strong international presence since its entrance in the market the company has grown rapidly, both in terms of turnover and its workforce.
