DENVER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/15/12 -- Catalyst Repository Systems, Inc., a pioneer in providing cloud-based document repositories for e-discovery and complex legal matters, today announced it ranked 418 on Deloitte's Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. In the 2012 ranking, the software sector led all industry categories with 200 companies and five-year percentage growth ranges from 128 to 279,684%. Catalyst's revenues grew 175 percent from 2007 to 2011. Catalyst also appeared on the Fast 500 list in 2011, and has now achieved the honor three times in the last five years.
Catalyst's founder and CEO, John Tredennick, credits the company's recent growth to its continuing leadership and innovation in the areas of big data, cloud computing and cross-border, multi-language, multi-matter e-discovery. Organizations are seeking products to help them manage big data in a proactive, cost-effective manner and Catalyst is delivering unparalleled technologies that rise to this task, he believes.
"We are excited to be ranked among the fastest-growing technology companies in the U.S. and to be recognized once again by Deloitte for our recent accomplishments," said Tredennick. "Catalyst's Fast 500 ranking is a testament to our continuing efforts to give clients across the world access to the most innovative technology, hosting and consulting services in the industry at the greatest value, particularly for matters involving the complexities of big data and multi-language search and review. We look forward to expanding our global presence in the years to come with our next-generation e-discovery platform, Catalyst Insight, and with a variety of strategic partnerships."
"We are proud to honor the 2012 Technology Fast 500 companies, and commend them for their outstanding growth," said Eric Openshaw, vice chairman, Deloitte LLP and U.S. technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) leader. "These ground-breaking companies have outpaced their competition and are reinventing the way we do business today."
"The companies on the Fast 500 list are among those that have demonstrated remarkable innovation, creativity and business savvy," said Bill Ribaudo, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP and national TMT leader for audit and enterprise risk services (AERS). "As a result, these companies have continued to successfully forge ahead in a challenging economic environment. We applaud the leadership and employees of Catalyst for this impressive accomplishment."
