Swiss integration radio station Radio Blind Power values the barrier-free usability of Fabasoft’s Folio Cloud. The organisation is working together with Fabasoft towards the continuous improvement of cloud applications for people with special needs.

Radio Blind Power proves that visually impaired and blind people can work in conventional radio. Their employed software must therefore be correspondingly accessible. Barrier-free usability is especially important to Fabasoft. Radio Blind Power’s decision to use Folio Cloud shows that Fabasoft, with its on-going accessibility work, is on the right way to achieving the best possible usability for all users. All operation elements in Folio Cloud can be keyboard-operated and are enriched with WAI-ARIA technology so that screen reader programs can give blind users the feeling of a desktop application – they are informed via speech or Braille output exactly where they are and what input is required.
