SParikh wrote: This article speaks true to the importance and capitalizing of the cloud. Me having experience dealing with cloud based tech and consulting and integration services, I realize the need for a secure and consistant cloud service. Many people are concerned with the privacy, or lack thereof, that could occur with storing personal documents into a non-physical storage unit. I can see, though with companies such as ours and Metacloud, we are working toward a more secure and easy to use cloud system for both personal and professional use. Spursh Parikh www.sererra.com

FX-SPORT Launch VR1 Programmable Personal Trainer Wireless Sports Headphones with built in Premium Quality Waterproof Mp3 Player

FX-Sport have today announced the launch of its water resistant and wire free Programmable Personal Trainer headphones with integrated CD quality, 8GB mp3 player.

A first of its kind for the sports world, the VR1 Programmable Personal Trainer Headphones are a purpose made, wire free, lightweight and super comfortable new training aid. They provide the user with both high quality music and the luxury of having their own personal trainer to customise any workout for any activity, including swimming.

The Programmable Personal Trainer facility allows the user to customise any workout with instruction, time notifications and motivational messages in their own words. Up to 64 personalised messages can be input to kick in at precisely designated times to structure any exercise session. This is done using the simple and free software downloaded from the FX-Sport website. There is also the option to race against a virtual athlete. All workouts can be saved on the software to provide a library of training sessions for speedy uploading in the future. A selection of voices are available for the messages in both male or female and in a variety of languages and accents.

Premium quality music is produced by the integrated 8GB mp3 player which uses text to speech software to read and voice album names or playlists to the user, using the buttons on the right headphone. This way there is no need for a screen which can be impractical whilst training. The mp3 player is compatible with mp3, wma and aac [m4a] formats. Bass and treble settings can also be customised via the software.

Duncan Walsh, an ex-professional sportsman and director of www.FX-Sport.co.uk said “We believe the VR1 will allow elite athletes, serious trainers and recreational exercisers to squeeze more out of their workouts by having their own personal trainer motivating them in a way specific for that individual. The personal trainer aspect especially, has almost limitless applications. Rather than just analysing performance post workout, the VR1 will get a better performance out of the user during the workout...and whilst listening to their favourite music.”

The VR1 Programmable Personal Trainer headphones retail at £139 whilst the V1 standard model will retail at £114. Both are available for purchase at www.fx-sport.co.uk.
