OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 11/22/12 -- On Saturday, November 24, 2012 Giant Tiger will celebrate the official grand opening of its store in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia located at 720 Sackville Drive.

Doors will open at 8 a.m. after a ribbon cutting ceremony and speeches by some local dignitaries and the Store Manager, Shawn Brennan. Giant Tiger is proud to be connected and committed to the communities we serve. A charity BBQ will be taking place benefitting Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Halifax; get a hot dog and a drink for $1.

It will be a fun-filled day with plenty of free activities for customers of all ages, including gift card giveaways to the first 100 customers in store, free coffee, strolling entertainment, music and even a visit from the Giant Tiger! There will be hourly gift card giveaways and promotional giveaways during the celebrations.
