ControlCam Offers CLI Flyovers to Help University Cable Systems Meet FCC Requirements
In light of FCC Reminders to universities and colleges that they must complete leakage monitoring, ControlCam offers affordable CLI Flyovers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ControlCam announced today that in response to the recent FCC notice we have developed a new product geared towards Universities and Colleges to provide affordable CLI Flyover packages. ControlCam has been providing CLI Flyovers and Reports for over 20 years and serves most of the largest cable companies in the United States.

In August of this year the FCC released a public notice to all Multichannel Video Programming Distributors (MVPD), both cable and non-cable, that they must monitor for and repair signal leakage if they are using the aeronautical band. These requirements apply to all MVPDs regardless of their number of subscribers. The FCC requires MVPDs to monitor leakage and file Form 320, failure to do so can result in fines up to $37,500.

ControlCam, the industry leader for cable signal leakage detection, is recognized and well known by the FCC. The company performs over 2,000 CLI tests annually, covering every region of the United States plus Puerto Rico and Canada. ControlCam provides quality CLI Flyover Testing, as well as Leakage reports that are easily accessed online and ready to be submitted to the FCC.

In response to the recent public notice by the FCC, ControlCam is reaching out to Universities to provide affordable and trusted CLI Flyover services, ensuring they meet requirements and avoid unwanted fines. ControlCam can help Universities cut time and money spent on monitoring their cable systems for leakage.

ControlCam is an innovative company in the aerial and ground imaging space. ControlCam is also the parent Company of Mar-Tech Engineering LLC., the Nation's leading provider of leak detection services to the Cable TV Industry. ControlCam offers an exciting smart phone app called Cam Dash that delivers real-time images and text for installation, monitoring and verification along with a comprehensive fieldwork management system. Tying this all together is ControlCam's Control Central cloud based image storage and retrieval system. It can be accessed securely anytime from anywhere on the planet.
