WAYNE, N.J., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Valley National Bancorp (NYSE:VLY)("Valley"), the holding company for Valley National Bank, announced today that a common stock cash dividend of $0.1625 per share will be paid January 2, 2013 to shareholders of record on December 14, 2012.  The dividend amount per share was unchanged as compared to the previous quarterly cash dividend. The cash dividend should not be used as an indicator of future dividends to Valley's stockholders.
