LiveOps Joins UK Government G-Cloud Programme

LiveOps, Inc., the global leader in cloud contact centre and customer service solutions, announced today that for the second consecutive year LiveOps Platform and Applications are part of the UK Government G-Cloud Programme. Acceptance into the programme qualifies LiveOps as a trusted provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) technology designed specifically to enable contact centres to effectively manage multichannel customer interactions across voice, email, chat, SMS, Twitter and Facebook. UK public sector organisations can now procure LiveOps Platform and Applications via the G-Cloud CloudStore.

LiveOps’ history of success working with public sector organizations began with social and mobile customer service and support. Currently, 10 percent of LiveOps Platform and Applications customers in the UK are public sector organizations. In addition, the pervasiveness of the cloud has enabled these organizations to have more than one department utilizing LiveOps Platform to communicate with UK citizens. While the use of social and mobile channels might initially start in the marketing department, the inclusion of departments like customer service and support in social and mobile interactions has allowed these organisations to create more cohesive customer experiences. LiveOps’ UK public sector customers have learned that not only can their citizens get more accurate answers faster but the organization also benefits from more cross-functional collaboration.

“UK citizens are increasingly using social and mobile channels to communicate with government entities. LiveOps Platform, with its multichannel desktop including inherent social and mobile capabilities, is well-suited for organisations looking to deliver outstanding customer service via the cloud,” said Marty Beard, President and CEO, LiveOps. “We applaud the UK government’s push to utilize cloud technology, and look forward to another successful year working with the G-Cloud Programme.”

Leveraging its years of experience in cloud-enablement of the UK public sector’s citizen communications, LiveOps has been asked to teach a master class titled “Mastering Social Multichannel Public Service” at the Digital by Default event, on 4 December at the Barbican Centre in London. Digital by Default is an event designed to provide essential information on how public sector organisations can deliver efficient, cost-effective public services that are responsive to the needs of citizens and businesses. LiveOps provided a similar master class earlier this year at the UK government event titled, “Excellence in Customer Service: Supporting Quality Public Services.”

The G-Cloud Programme underpins a cloud-first approach by the UK government that fundamentally changes the way UK public sector organisations procure and operate information technology to improve services and work more effectively for the public. The programme with its catalogued list of suppliers simplifies the procurement process and provides easy access to approved cloud technologies and providers.
