SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 12/06/12 -- Parking Concepts, Inc., has partnered with QuickPay Corp., a premier mobile payment platform provider, to bring new payment options and value-added services to its patrons in the Bay Area and in Southern California. With QuickPay, Parking Concepts customers can pay for parking with their mobile phones using the free QP QuickPay® smartphone app available for iPhone® and Android, or by SMS text or voice. Parking Concepts, a parking operator that leases, manages or operates nearly 200 facilities, was founded in 1974 and has since maintained the company's mission to provide high quality, progressive and innovative parking services to meet its clients' needs and financial goals. With QuickPay, Parking Concepts customers will gain the ability to pay for parking by mobile phone, bringing ease and convenience to the parking payment process. Furthermore, the QP QuickPay app allows Parking Concepts parkers to easily find parking facilities that are QP-compatible. "We're all about providing the best service possible to our clients, and the QP QuickPay solution offers value to our customers through convenience and time-savings," said Jeff Spicker, manager of business development at Parking Concepts, Inc. "As a parking operator and manager, I value QuickPay's ability to deliver increased value and convenience to both Parking Concepts and the parking patron while delivering the "cool" factor to our industry. The QP QuickPay app allows patrons to enter our gated facilities via their own personal smartphone. No more pulling tickets or waiting in line to pay." QP QuickPay uniquely offers a flexible solution that supports all of Parking Concepts' parking environments, which include advanced parking solutions for hospitals, stadiums, special events, offices and some of the busiest airports in the United States. Now, Parking Concepts has made the QP app available in both surface lots as well as gated garages. Six Parking Concepts locations in the Bay Area are now QP-compatible, including the busy Showplace Square garage in San Francisco's Design District. Parking Concepts now also offers the QP QuickPay service in Los Angeles at its downtown Park Fifth lot. Now available in 14 cities total across California, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado representing almost 15,000 spaces, QuickPay plans to continue its expansion and roll out more locations in both Northern and Southern California with Parking Concepts in the coming months. "At QuickPay Corp., we identify with Parking Concepts' focus on service. Together, we look forward to not only offering consumers a streamlined system for finding and paying for parking, but a solution that also allows facilities to differentiate and attract customers through the app's discoverability feature," said Barney Pell, QuickPay Corp. chairman and CEO. "This partnership links us to a premier parking provider with a stellar reputation, and gives QuickPay the opportunity to bring our service to even more locations and geographies."
