Slalom Consulting Enhances Motorcycle Insurance Product Solution With Kelley Blue Book InfoDriver Data
Kelley Blue Book Valuation Data Helps Slalom Insurance Customers Gain Market Insights, Make Effective Business Decisions

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif., Dec. 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Slalom Consulting announced today that it has partnered with Kelley Blue Book to integrate its InfoDriver Data with the firm's Motorcycle Symbol File, an industry-leading motorcycle insurance product and underwriting solution that helps insurance carriers improve their services.

Slalom Consulting's solution now incorporates valuation data for more than 34,900 motorcycle makes and models from Kelley Blue Book's InfoDriver Data product.  InfoDriver Data provides Kelley Blue Book valuation information about used vehicles and new vehicles—including motorcycles—in addition to vehicle reviews.

"With the continued growth of the motorcycle insurance industry, it's critical that property and casualty insurance carriers develop custom solutions that optimize market data to deliver rich insights and ensure competitiveness," said Jason Koehn, practice area leader of insurance and financial services for Slalom Consulting.  "With Kelley Blue Book's comprehensive information set incorporated into the Slalom data file, the industry, as well as customers, will benefit from improved pricing, underwriting and loss results."

The Motorcycle Symbol File from Slalom incorporates wholesale, retail and manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) information into the solution, along with model year, manufacturer, engine size and other key data.

"Kelley Blue Book's valuation and vehicle information is among the most recognized and trusted in the industry," said John Heffinger, vice president of data services for Kelley Blue Book.  "Integrating our industry-leading data into Slalom's product provides motorcycle insurers with the information they need to help them make effective business decisions."

In addition to Kelley Blue Book data, the Slalom solution provides users with competitive analysis, helps adjusters identify insured vehicles, and integrates seamlessly with existing products and pricing structures.
