The International School of Hospitality Earns Accreditation
The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET) Validation Benefits Future Students

LAS VEGAS, Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The International School of Hospitality (TISOH) today announced that it is now a fully accredited institution having earned its accreditation from ACCET, Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training. The U. S. Department of Education recognizes ACCET as a national accrediting agency which maintains certification as an ISO 9001 Quality Management System by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI). For TISOH, accreditation validates the rigorous curricula and educational processes in existence since its founding eight years ago.

"Accreditation allows the school to become accessible to many more potential students because they can benefit from tuition reimbursement programs, potential loans and grants," commented Timothy Lam, Executive Director of TISOH. "The benefits of a TISOH education is evidenced by the hundreds of graduates enjoying their careers in hospitality. This accreditation, combined with the school's 96% student satisfaction rate and its dedicated corporate and association supporters, strengthens our mission of providing quality short-term continuing education and career training programs for those seeking a career in hospitality or wishing to advance."

Accreditation by ACCET is an organizational commitment and a strategic plan for quality training. The peer review evaluation process inspects every aspect of the institution and serves to keep programs current, relevant and educationally sound. Accreditation allows for students to gain access to tuition reimbursement programs from their employers. It also allows institutions to seek approval for federal student aid loans and grants as well as wide access to state and local funding programs.

A new semester of classes at The International School of Hospitality begins January 22, 2013. Courses include Conference Management & Event Planning, Event Design & Production, Art of Concierge, Hotel Operations, Hospitality Human Resources, Hospitality Leadership and Supervision, and Wedding Coordination & Design.  The TISOH curriculum is taught by professionals from the hospitality industry for those interested in entering the field of hospitality or advancing their careers in this dynamic industry.
