In response to feedback from its growing developer community, AppFog, the leading cloud-based platform-as-a-service (PaaS) provider, today introduced a low-cost paid developer plan to its pricing program. In addition, AppFog has increased database storage capacity across all of its paid plans, and has doubled the limits on storage per application.

It is enhanced with SSL support and database storage of 500MB to 4GB, far larger than the free plan allowance. At half the cost of what used to be AppFog’s lowest paid plan, the new plan addresses the need of small development groups, independent developers, and developers at startups and at small and mid-sized businesses to gain the advantages of AppFog’s leading polyglot and multi-cloud PaaS platform at an affordable cost.
